My Chiropractic Story!

I first experienced back problems when I was a young teenager playing football. I remember being bent backwards with a sharp jolt of pain into my legs. My next experience was when I was a 19 year old playing college football at Moorhead State University. We were lifting weights when I twisted wrong and felt another sharp pain in my low back and into my left leg. Pain medications, ice, and stretching were not working for me. For years I watched my father go through similar back issues and he used chiropractic care to keep him functional so I went to a chiropractor who showed me that the cause of my pain was coming from my spine being misaligned and not because my body was lacking the aspirin I was ingesting. Long story short after an examination and spinal adjustments my back was feeling much better and I was in love with chiropractic care. Over the course of my four years of playing football I had numerous opportunities to visit the chiropractor with all sorts of neck and back problems and each time the success and speed of which I recovered was amazing.

After Moorhead State University I attended Northwestern Chiropractic College in Bloomington Minnesota. It was there that I learned how to examine, diagnose, and care for the human body in a natural way without the use of drugs or surgeries. When I am not at the office treating patients I enjoy spending time with my family, running and training for marathons, fishing and boating at the lake.

The word Doctor means teacher. Not only is it my mission to help you with your spinal problems but also to teach you how you can better care for your whole body through chiropractic care, nutrition, and exercise. I look forward to meeting you and learning more about you and how I may help you.
